Final evaluation of the project
Toward Durable Reintegration Mechanisms in Georgia , an EC-funded technical capacity building undertaken as part of the Aeneas programme. Examined programme implementation and effectiveness, with particular focus on drawing lessons for work that represented a new domain and programming type for the organization.May - June 2009.

International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Geneva, Switzerland.
Evaluation of ICRC Prevention programmes in the CIS/FSU to promote International Humanitarian Law (IHL) to governments, armed and security forces and education. Field visits to Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine and the Russian Federation, examining 10 years of programming and results. March - May 2008.

American Red Cross, Washington D.C. USA.
Mid-term review of the American Red Cross
Tsunami Recovery Program, 2005 – 2010. Broad-spectrum overview of the strategic and operational effectiveness of a $470 million operation with visits to Washington DC, Indonesia, Maldives, Sri Lanka and Thailand. January - March 2008.

International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Mozambique and Philippines.
Led a review of IFRC coordination of the Shelter Cluster following
floods in 2007. Focused on measuring quality of service provided, functioning of the Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement, mechanics of cluster roll-out and IFRC advocacy at the global level. February and April 2007.

International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Darfur Operations, Sudan.
Operational and Security Audit (internal consultancy). Analyzed and corrected development of an evolving operation, including coaching of field managers in security and operations management. Based on recommendations presented, facilitated change management process with senior management of delegation. October- December 2004.

World Food Programme (WFP), DRC and Switzerland.
Undertook a Field Study on the Protection of Civilians in the Democratic Republic of Congo in 2006. Our work was in support of an ongoing policy project exploring how the Programme could improve beneficiary protection, through its staff, mandate and operations. The outcome of the field research included the formulation of country-level and strategic recommendations for the eventual WFP policy formulation. In 2009, we undertook a review of all WFP-commissioned research projects to develop a discussion paper for a High Level Humanitarian Conference.
